“Fantastic Stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2011

I booked the Penthouse apartment and was not disappointed. When I was looking at the many hotels/B&Bs in Bath I was nervous about the size of some the rooms. To avoid this I ended up looking at apartments. There would be 3 of us staying here, for two nights, and I wanted to make sure that we each had enough space so that we did not feel on top of each. This apartment accomplished that perfectly. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and welcoming, and the location can not be beat, especially if one comes/goes into Bath via the trains. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great location with lots of room!

From start to finish - we can't fault Abbey Heights apartments! I booked all 4 apartments for a hen weekend for 18 of us and they were perfect!

Located perfectly in the centre of Bath and close to all bars/restaurants and clubs so no taxis or cars needed all weekend - all the shops on your doorstep too.

The apartments are all within a few minutes of each other - we would have been further away from each other had we been in a big apartment block spread out so this was actually really close together!

Each apartment is fantastically laid out and absolutely beautiful - many places describe themselves as luxurious and don't quite live up to that but these apartments certainly are from the bedding to the small touches that make the difference...it's clear everything has been thought of in the apartments especially when you have everything you need to make a cuppa when you arrive (yes..including milk!).

What really makes this place great is the service - as it's a family run business alongside a beautiful little B&B (Three Abbey Green), they really make an effort to make you feel welcome and make sure you enjoy your stay from booking, helping you get there(!) which as a group of 18 girls is not always easy! Staff even helped us to get all our food for the hen party up the stairs! Then a checking out phone call or email to ensure we had a great time! The best service I've experienced to date and I have been on many a hen weekend!

All in all a perfect place to stay in Bath - not only for a group of us either - we're all heading back with our husbands soon....!

A really lovely apartment for a family or friends to take a break in Bath. Lovely decor, clean and bright and just a tiny walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants. The Penthouse had a fab coffee machine which was a real bonus too!! We had a girl's weekend away there and would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Room Tip: The Penthouse has a great view!

This self catering apartment in Bath city centre was a fantastic find. The apartment is very clean and beautifully finished with some top of the range fixtures and fittings, including the most wonderful coffee machine ever!

Our friends and us were visiting Bath for a wedding with 3 very young children, all aged less than 2 yrs. The apartment gave us the flexibility of being able to get the kids to bed at normal times and still enjoy dinner with friends. The place also offers a babysitting service that we didn't use.

There were two double/twin bedrooms, one with an ensuite that has a normal sized bath and a second bathroom with a fantastic shower.

The place is really family friendly (after climbing the two flights of stairs - but well worth it) and provided cots and bedding and highchairs for all children. They provided the required number of towels for all staying, including the tiny baby and were so helpful.

They include the basics to get you started and to save you having to rush out to buy dishwasher tablets and washing powder for a few days stay, those little things made all the difference.

Location is superb and there is parking opposite. M&S is literally a 2 minute stroll and there is a sainsbury's local just a touch further, as well as loads of local restaurants that we didn't try due to the small children mentioned earlier!

All in all a great place that we would love to go back to...and a very reasonable price when compared to hotels without all the conveniences.

Visited Bath for a 3 night stay to celebrate birthdays - this apartment was a real find and perfect for four of us. Literally the only downside was the climb up the stairs to get to the front door - however on the bright side, it helped us work off some of the excess calories Obviously , you wouldn't expect the 'Penthouse Apartment' to be on the ground floor.

The facilities were wonderful, comfy beds, two bathrooms, and the owners had thought of everything...even down to earplugs in the bedroom drawers. My personal favourite was the coffee machine which provided a perfect start to every morning, The owners called us to check everything was OK and were on hand if necessary, but we had no need to contact them with any problems.

The apartment is about 2 mins walk from the Station, about another 3 minutes along the same road and you reach Bath Abbey. Ideally located for shops, bars, restaurants and the Thermae Spa.

The Penthouse Apartment was very comfortable and quiet with all the necessary amenities. Owners provided excellent directions and followed up with a phone call after out arrival. 2nd bedroom had two twin beds which was perfect for us with our two teenagers. Be aware though that there is no lift - you have to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs - not a problem for us but could be for others. Great views from the rooms. Coffee machine was very cool - a bit of a challenge to figure out how to operate and keep filled with water (could have been better instructions) but once we had that down it was great. Best part is the location - we arrived via bus which was a very short walk and left via train which was even shorter. Very close by are the Roman Baths and the Abbey, as well as lots of shops and restaurants - groceries are a hundred yards away. A short walk will take you to the Royal Crescent or Pultney Bridge. We spent two full days - our highlights, other than the Baths and Abbey, were the Bizarre Comedy Walk and the Mad Max Stonehenge/Lacock tour.

We used all of the apartments for a recent hen do, and they are lovely. The kitchen fixtures are gorgeous, and the bedding is all very comfortable. They are all very close to the station, and are so central that we did not have to spend any money on taxis etc during our whole stay.

The people who own the apartments could not be more helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay.
