Having had a very long day trundling around the shops we wanted somewhere near to the hotel to eat. Walked by La Tasca and decided it would do. We were there at 6.00 on a Saturday night so it was fairly quiet. We were given the choice of a window seat, overlooking the weir and river but were told, very politely, that if we wanted those seats we would need to vacate by 7.30 which was fine by us. The service was very friendly and efficient and the way that a tapas bar works was explained clearly and we were advised roughly how many dishes would be advisable to order. The food was well presented, fresh and well cooked and the bill was less than we expected. Would definitely go there again.
