“A proper vegetarian restaurant”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

A cosy, attractively located restaurant, which appears to specialize in preparing quality vegetarian fare, presented with friendliness. The three course meal for 15 pounds was very good value, from a menu, which had good options. Would heartily recommend this spot for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. A special shout out to the lovely waitress, who recommended some pubs in the Bath area; my buddy and I checked them all out!:)

“Vegetarian food at its best”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

I am a regular meat eater but fancied trying this restaurant and I do not regret it one bit. It is the best meal we had during our week away in the UK. Great flavours, good wine, swift service.Yes, a place to recommend,

“The Best”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

The Best Vegetarian Restaurant we have ever visited and we've been 'veggies' for over 20 years! The range and quality of the menu is fantastic. Staff very helpful. A great place to go if you want excellent cuisine rather than another veggie Lasagne or Rissotto!

“Great food - and I'm not a veggie...”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

This tiny sliver of a house near Sally Lunns serves really tasty and original vegetarian food using fresh high quality ingredients. My falafel+salad was terrific.Good touches like a dollop of tangy pesto, excellent olive oil in the dressing, and tomatoes that not only tasted of tomato (where do they find them in February?) but had had their skins removed before slicing - all these showed a kitchen taking care over the small things and not cutting corners. My wife's gnudi (soft spiced cheese rolled in semolina) won praise too. We shared the most wonderful pudding - orange posset (flavoured thick cream) topped with tiny dice of crisp pink rhubarb and some kind of ginger relish - a lovely sprightly mouthful of sweet-sour-spicy-soft-crispy. Service was attentive and personable. With a couple of glasses of (fairly unmemorable) red wine each, plus coffee and service, the bill came to about £26 a head.

“Top Notch”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

I am the worlds most unlikely vegetarian however n a moment of 'weakness' I was persuaded to isit Demuths. The place is a small venue decorated tastefully . The food was terrific with portions of the right size cooked and presented so very well. I had a great evening and though i can confirm that i am still a meat lover i no longer dismiss the vegetarian option out of hand.
