“A really lovely cottage”
Reviewed June 13, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

This cottage is set in the lovely Shropshire countryside with great views of the hills.
There are lots of opportunities for walking if you are able and, as in our case, the chance to be quiet and to have the peaceful sort of holiday that we wanted.
The cottage was very clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed.
The owner,Mrs Howarth lives next door and provided a good welcome pack and was always available if required.

“Comfortable cottage in lovely countryside”
Reviewed March 15, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We had a lovely holiday in Wisteria Cottage B. The owner, Maria, is very friendly and helpful - the welcome cake, wine and tea things were especially appreciated! The bed was enormous - bigger than our kingsize at home, and very comfortable. The cottage is in a lovely quiet area. Having our breakfast while looking out at the hills was really nice in the mornings. The cottage has everything you need, and a full range of cooking implements - although we mostly ate out. We would recommend the Horseshoes pub in Dorrington, where had several delicious evening meals, and the Ludlow Food Centre which has an impressive farm shop as well as great food in the cafe there. Our favourite places that we visited were Much Wenlock, Ludlow and a bit further afield, Hay-on-Wye. All in all we had a lovely time, very relaxing and enjoyable and the cottage was a lovely place to stay. Recommended!

“Lovely cosy, well appointed cottage in the country”

This was our first visit to Shropshire, we were given a warm welcome by the owner with a lovely package which included home made cake. The accommodation is set in the heart of the countryside with excellent views, but is only a few minutes from main roads, it is centrally situated to such a degree that most places to visit are all within 40 mins drive many are far less. We visited in April, had a very cold week but the cottage was lovely warm and cosy with everything one would need. The owner was always available to answer any queries.

“Rural haven at the end of the day”
Reviewed April 27, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

The cottage is bright cosy and spotlessly clean! We managed to sit out on the patio one day, a little sun trap, quite private and the views of the surrounding hills were beautiful. It is only a short drive into Shrewsbury which is a lovely medieval town. Maria is very helpful and friendly and makes lovely butterfly cakes! We would definately recommend this property.

“Perfect accommodation for a couple in a wonderful setting”
Reviewed October 5, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

This cottage and its owner, Maria, are delightful. The accommodation is spacious, well equipped and finished to a very high standard. The setting is idyllic with views of the Shropshire hills from both your own outdoor sitting area and from the cottage itself. It is convenient for Shrewsbury and the area generally - visiting Ludlow, Ironbridge etc or walking on the Long Mynd from Church Stretton. Maria provides a welcome pack including a home made cake and is a perfect hostess.
