Well kept. Lovely place to escape to from High St. The Dingle always stunning and kept immaculate. The Flower Show in August well worth a visit here.

Very good park and gardens with a lovely centre piece of a small lake with fountains. The flower and shrub planting is a sight to behold. Wonderful place to relax and perhaps if your lucky to listen to a band.

lovely place to let the kids run wild if they are with you walks along the river banks and for those wanting a more quieter time the dingle in the quarry is a lovely lace to just sit and admire the gardens

A beautiful park to visit, take visitors to. Children can run and play on the vast expanse of grass. There is also a play area for them to enjoy.
It is nice to walk alongside the river. You might even be lucky enough to see some wild life!
The Dingle is a gardener's delight! Interesting plants all year round. A wonderful splash of colour in the spring and summer. Famous for the Shrewsbury Flower Show held in August, and of course Percy Thrower who was head gardener here for many years.
Well worth a visit.

If you haven't explored Shrewsbury Quarry then you're missing a treat, it's so well kept, not a hint of litter, well done Shrewsbury. On a sunny day people sunbath and picnic and generally spend quality time with their loved ones. If you venture into the Dingle you are greeted by a riot of colourful blooms, shrubs and specimen trees all beautifully maintained (Percy Thrower would be proud). There are plenty of park benches to take a few moments to soak up the atmosphere, reflect and generally watch life. Such a lovely civilised place to be :-)
