Lovely place to stay, quant, clean and the food is excellent. Central for everything, would certainly stay there again. Loads of places to eat. The staff were really friendly, couldn’t do enough for you, More than happy to make sure you are 100% happy with your stay.

Room was nice, it was clean and well decorated.
View of welsh bridge was good.
It's location to the town was
Good with free parking.
However it's location and type of building also meant it was very noisy. Ear plugs are provided in drawer next to bed.
Breakfast was average . Would visit Shrewsbury again but look for somewhere else to stay

I have been visiting this hotel regularly in the past and have always enjoyed tremendously my stays. There is a unique blend of typical stylish British atmosphere about it, a bit nostalgic, but also very comforting. The service is impeccable and the rooms are very tastefully decorated, the restaurant serves great food and not lastly- the breakfast is a jewel. Yesterday I revisited after a five years break only to find out that the quality hasn’t changed, and to my mind, that means a lot.

Had a lovely overnight stay. Shrewsbury is lovely and not far from home
Have to say that this hotel is really nice, but we thought it was rather overpriced. Our room was clean and functional but very small. The bathroom was tiny(not much room at all) a double bed with small space either side. A wonky TV balancing on a very small table, and no space to move around. £150 for this room was so overpriced. Have to say that the location is good-close to the town and walkable from the train station.
The hotel served a lovely breakfast, and the staff were good.
It's an ok place but would return to Shrewsbury and choose another place to stay.

Room tip: Have lots of money for a basic room
