Excellent place for a day out. Great walks and some lovely views across the surrounding countryside. Quite magical for young children around the caves and follies although safety is needed in some areas when moving around especially if it has rained, can be slippy. Sensible shoes needed! Nice picnic areas. A very interesting day.

This is a fascinating place with a surprise round every corner. It would be a great place for children (though you might want to keep a tight rein on them at times), with plenty of interesting nooks and crannies to explore. It's also very inspiring - you could easily imagine magical or scary creatures lurking behind rocks and under bridges, so you could make up stories and games with the kids! For an adult, the views are wonderful and the whole place could provide inspiration for your own garden (though probably on a much smaller scale!)

I'd definitely go again; although we spend several hours there, I don't feel I've seen nearly half of it.

Soup in the cafe was good too.

Set in north Shropshire with spectacular views, the Follies offers a real adventure for those fit enough to clamber up the steep paths that criss cross the park. Some of the paths are quite challenging but the views are worth it.

Hawkstone Park and Follies has been a family favourite day out for quite a few years. Having been as a child and revisited with my nieces and nephews as an adult I can truly say the magic hasn't been lost.

It's a fantastic walk with amazing views and some very interesting follies along the way! The tower offers views over the surrounding counties on a clear day. On a rainy day it's a test to see how long you can stay up there.

The caves are always a hit with the younger ones who like to explore with thier torches but are never too far away as its very dark.

Finishing the walk along the sandstone edge is always my favourite part with glimpses through the trees of the surrounding countryside.

It's a fantastic day out. Don't forget a picnic, but, if you do there is a great cafe at the start.

werent sure what to expect but we had a great time here. The site is built on a rocky outcrop and going around included lots of climbs and descents (no climbing gear needed!) loads to see and some great views. This really brings out the inner child so be prepared to spend the whole day, play peep-oh and have a good time.
