Popped in on a Saturday lunchtime. Small menu but nice choices. The interior of the pub is lovely. Dark wood, a roaring fire and candle lit tables. Ale was very nicely kept. Staff were very attentive and polite. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and after a small mix up with mine (wrong one brought out) enjoyed them both. The meat from warm, tender and freshly cooked. We were even given free drinks to make up for the confusion with my food. The outside looks lovely but sadly was too cold to take advantage of. Very nice place and would visit again.
