This cottage has it all; Each room is en suite and spacious. The kitchen and lounge are upstairs and so light and airy with a balcony. wonderful to sit and read each morning. The grounds are picturesque and unspoiled. Be aware that you need to drive through a farmyard and may need to open/close a gate. Owners so helpful and area especially interesting. Check out the Swan at Aston Munslow. The food is great and its nearby.
I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere with so much birdsong. This lovely valley is a delight -feels very remote but you are actually close to lots of lovely little places - we mainly drove to ludlow and churchstretton to visit cafes and bookshops and then drove back to sit on the balcony reading. Good heating, comfortable beds and sofa, and above all peaceful. The full size snooker table was a plus for the evenings. Highly recommended if your needs are simple and you love listening to birdsong and trees.
A lovely treasure, nestled in a valley in Shropshire. Cottage was warm and inviting, the beds and sofas were very comfortable. Great walks and close to Ludlow and all that has to offer. Hosts were very friendly and there was a home made cake waiting for us on our arrival. Will remember our breakfast on the balcony (in February!) watching the chickens for a long time to come. Thank you so much!
(we hope to visit again to take advantage of the bbq lodge!)
