Thank you judy would love to to come back in the future as there was more we wanted to see. Jackie
My mum and I had a lovely week at 10 camp lane. Mum is 93 years old! She managed the stairs with a little help and was able to use the en suite in the night and the downstairs wet room to have a shower. I slept in the single room which was very comfy and has a spacious wardrobe. It worked really well for us. So peaceful.
The Kitchen is well equipped, although I really struggled to reach the cupboards ( I am really tiny).
The neighbours John and Linda are wonderful. I would pay to have such lovely people next door to me!
We visited somewhere different every day. Went out for a fine dining lunch three times, and gained weight!
Under different circumstances I would have walked more. There is so much to see.
Thank you Judy.
Spent a week here and loved every minute. The cottage is beautiful and has every amenity you could wish for on a holiday stay. From the outside it is a quaint, old fashioned building and the same can be said for much of the interior. However, the kitchen and wet room are both very modern. The kitchen is beautiful and every appliance you could need is in there. The fairly large garden at the rear is on four levels and is simply beautiful with colour everywhere. There is even an open-air barbecue and seating at the bottom of the garden which would be great on a summer's evening. Unfortunately, we didn't have the weather for that though. The river is about 150 metres down the road and Ludlow Castle is about the same distance away. The market square is about 200 metres away. The town of Ludlow is simply gorgeous with lots of small independent shops, pubs and places to eat. It is a real hidden gem. The cottage and most of the pubs are pet friendly and there a lots of riverside and country walks right on the doorstep. All in all, a wonderful cottage in a great little town. Communication with Judy, the owner, was easy and responses were very quick. I'm sure we'll be back.
We had the best time at 10 Camp Lane. The cottage has everything to make your stay most enjoyable; we spent lazy afternoons in the beautifully landscaped garden, cooked in the evening under the skylight in the kitchen, and of course to top it all off Ludlow is simply lovely. Thank you Judy for excellent communication and to her daughter for meeting us. We will be back! Stuart, Ilaria & Beans
Camp Lane is a charming cottage with traditional and unusual features, very stylish and roomy and in a lovely peaceful location but just a short stroll (uphill) into the town centre. It has the benefit of a large garden that is ideal for sitting out in and enjoying the peace and quiet. Would love to visit again.
We had a wonderful stay at this delightful cottage. Beautifully and thoughtfully renovated with a true cook's kitchen below a fabulous glass rooflight and a garden that is sheer heaven. We could not believe how peaceful the location was too. No sounds, even close to the town centre, except birdsong. Absolutely recommended.
What a beautiful place to stay. Fantastic kitchen with fancy lights in the glass pitched roof, full size freezer, washer/dryer, fridge, full size dishwasher, range cooker and all what you need to cook any meal you fancy.
Very tastefully decorated, warm and welcoming. The owner lives next door, and so friendly and helpful when showing us around. The cottage would sleep 2 adults, teenager and baby. Great to know you can bring your dog.
The garden was gorgeous too over 3 levels, BBQ at top of the garden.
The wet room was a great to have so no queuing for the bathroom.. Bathrobes in the bathroom and 2nd bedroom wardrobe to use, nice little touches.
The cottage is a 5 min walk to town, and a couple of minutes away from Ludlow Castle, so no need for the car, just park up and get about town. Parking spaces is a premium , but if you can find a red zone parking (owner gives you the permits to put on car window) this cottage is in such a great location. Very peaceful too.
