Arrived late one afternoon just before they closed. Had a quick look round and were about to leave when a lady directed us to the choir stalls - the carvings were absolutely superb and we nearly missed them! Well worth a look

This is a huge Parish Church which has all the majesty of a cathedral. The stained glass is superb. It is well worth climbing the 200 steps to the top of the bell tower where you will be rewarded with spectacular views of Ludlow and the Shropshire hills.

I am not especially religious but I do like churches and this one is rather special as it still has its original carved timber roof along with some fine stained glass. Well worth a visit .

It's a beautiful (mainly) late medieval church with some fabulous medieval stained glass. The 200 steps to the top of the tower is well worth the effort for the stunning views over the countryside.

We were welcomed at the door and given some information by a volunteer. The rector was waiting for two baptisms & was very welcoming to everyone in his church. We were there during the baptism & were very impressed by the lovely community atmosphere & great pride in wanting to preserve this magnificent house of God & his community for the descendants of the parish. It was a joyous occasion to feel at one with the past, present & future of this living church. Thank you.
