My wife and I booked a late mid-week trip to Ludlow. A bit of research prior to going narrowed down a few places to eat. As we are going touring in France later this year we decided to have a meal here. We managed to book a table and were more than impressed about the whole experience.
The restaurant has a good cafe/bistro atmosphere with only a handful of tables making the eating experience intimate. The staff were attentive but not intrusive and added to the ambiance. The food was lovely, rustic, wholesome and full of flavor.I had snails for the first time in years and they were delicious. We opted for three course and a bottle of wine and this did not break the bank at all, very good value for money.
If you want a great meal then I would heatedly recommend here, just get there early otherwise you will not get a table and thus miss a great place to eat.
