We last visited Da Vinci's around 3 years ago and have always recommended it to others. Sadly it seems that the quality has gone downhill since our last visit. For starters we ordered a pancetta dish with Parmesan and broad beans. After must searching through the dish we could not find any pancetta. The waitress took the dish back to the kitchen and when it was returned with pancetta we were told that 'the shavings were small so we hadn't seen them' this was a little insulting as there had clearly been none in the dish before. When the main course eventually arrived the presentation was clumsy and there were simply too many side dishes, which did not compliment the meal. The fried potatoes were greasy and tasted of stale oil. We finished the meal with two very nice espressos, which arrived 30 mins after they were ordered! All-in-all it wasn't the meal we had been looking forward to and although there was an attempt at good service, it fell short.
