“Great. Tourist info here also.”

Our start of the tour. Great! Staff at tourist info very helpful indeed.
Beautifully laid out with plan of the Gorge as it was making it easier to visualise days gone by.

“Small but wonderful”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

This is one of the smaller museums, but don't be fooled into thinking there's not a lot to see. The model of the Gorge is fascinating. We spent almost half an hour working from start to finish. Each time you look up from a section of writing you will spot something new. You can also look out along the river and watch the ducks - the children were really enjoying this! It really is worth watching the film telling more about the history - and you get a free sit down at the same time. There is a lovely gift shop, with plenty of choice for everyone at reasonable prices.

“An interesting overview”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

Worth visiting before the other Ironbridge Museums to get an overview of the heritage of the gorge. The model of the gorge was very well done and put the developments into context as well as helping with the interpretation. Adjacent car park and only yards from the brewery!
