Owner description: This scenic area, often used by moviemakers because of its unspoiled, authentic 18th-century architecture, offers several museums that represent a different aspect of Britain's industrial heritage.

Very interesting and informative. Presented well. This museum was good value for money and gave a good insight to life in the lovely Ironbridge. Ironbridge is an ideal location for all ages and it does not rely on good weather, a big bonus if the sun is shining but enough to see and do on cool damp day.

Visited the Museum recently with a party of 15 old school friends. Everything went exceedingly well thanks to a very good guide (John Brown) who was most interesting. All museums are accessible and well presented.

I was very disappointed with our visit. For me the main problem is the cost. £65 for a family ticket, £1.50 to park the car, then they wanted another £6 to ride on the clay mine train. I would expect to pay extra for fairground rides, but not a train that is clearly part of the infrastructure.
Although the £65 cost is for an annual ticket, we are unlikely to return. We drove a 160 mile round trip to visit and there is not enough to see/do to make me want to drive all that way again.
The trustees need to realise that they need to offer value for money, as much as any other business. Expecting the public to just hand over large amounts of money because it is a museum/trust is surely short-sighted.

We had two great days around the gorge and still we could do more, thankfully our tickets last for a year. The people are so incredibly friendly and a credit to the museum. The bridge across the gorge is a sight to see. I would suggest you try to park in the museum car parks, as an all day ticket can be used at all their car parks as the local authority car parks are excessive. A must to go to is the museum of iron and the Victoria village (note the house on the way back from here as it is leaning backwards).

We have been twice with friends and family and bought the annual pass which gives unlimited access to all the sites for 1 year. There is a free Park and ride bus, the car park is £1.50 per day but the ticket can be used at any sites visited on that day. All the museums were superb and extremely interesting, the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. We have visited about 6 of the attractions over our two visits . The Blist Hill museum was really outstanding. We will be back to see the rest and revisit others as the annual pass allows repeat visits.
the pass is outstanding value as it even allows visits the following year to the attractions you did not get chance to visit
