Owner description: This scenic area, often used by moviemakers because of its unspoiled, authentic 18th-century architecture, offers several museums that represent a different aspect of Britain's industrial heritage.

A totally Awesome place, a must to visit. best to buy a Passport so you can visit all the museums at a great saving. The passport also gives you free bus transport from museum to museum. The Iron bridge itself is a remarkable structure with a iconic shape and a masterpice of modular construction. All the other sights and there are many offer some interest and learning. Would be difficult to see all of the sights in one day and also enjoy a walk along the river path. This town is such a unique place, there can't be anything like it elsewhere in the world. This is where the industrial revolution began.

Very interesting and educational. Plenty to entertain kids and you can buy a season ticket. You need a day to see it properly but moving around in the car is easy.

if your in the area ironbridge is well worth a visit . Allow most of your day ,as there is so much to see ,You are transported back to the 1800's when the industrial revolution was at it's hight . The buildings are original for example a victorian school ,a chemist ,bank using old coins ,a working pub selling real ale ,a foundry ,beam engines ,a coal mine etc. The people working in this recreation of a victorian town are dressed in period costume and have an extensive knowledge of the time which they are willing to share with anyone interested .

A real treat to revisit Blist Hill village at Ironbridge over bank holiday weekend. We were blessed by gorgeous weather which leaves a favourable impression! Great value, great fun and lots to do. My kids now view their teachers as amazing having had a small taster of a Victorian school! A wonderful chance to see history come alive. I visited 20 years ago as part of my teacher training and was impressed. It's got better.
