“The children loved it!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013

We spent a fantastic morning here with the children, aged 11, 8 and 5. They absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. There are lots of opportunities to try out different experiences learning how things work and sometimes just playing! I would highly recommend a trip here.

“A great way to spend half a day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

This place is so hands on and interactive that it brings out the child in a any parent and the kids have a super time too. Located in Coalbrookdale at the site of the first blast furnace restored by Abraham Darby, this converted warehouse contains a lot of games which teach you about energy, power, light, mechanics and a lot more. It is suitable for all ages and is thoroughly entertaining. Cannot recommend it enough!

“One of the best interactive museums anywhere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013

This is a family or kids' museum that just about anybody, of any age, will enjoy. The 75-year-old I was with had a big grin on his face the whole time. We saw families with kids really working exhibits, everybody taking a turn. Maybe it was the intelligence and ingenuity with which it was planned, but it was much better than most such museums in the States. Bravo!

“Good afternoon out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013

We met up with friends with children and this is a great place for children and adults to explore (children aged between 5 and 9). The staff are always on hand to help you out and are friendly and knowledgable.
One big bonus was the weather workshop which was done as a presentation and explained the principles of weather visually through simple but astounding science experiments. The children and adults were very impressed!!
We have a family passport to Ironbridge which incorporates all the museums as well as the park and ride which is free between the different sites - well worth buying.
The museum is also a bonus to spend a wet afternoon, where play becomes learning but is ultimately good fun.

“Beats the science museum London”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2013

Kids loved this place (so did many grown up kids!). Lots of workshops and spaces for kids to experiment with science and technology and all but one worked!

Needs to be bigger and more of them round the country encouraging school trips to this kind of environment/workshops.
