Went to a midday showing at the cinema with Mrs. Tintin and afterwards had a Ieisurely three course lunch here. 3 courses for 10.95. I don't eat out a lot since it's mostly a disappointment compared to what can be achieved at home. Mostly frozen food here. Kind of stuff you get in Iceland. We had bacon and cheese skins and chicken strips (american for chicken nuggets) for starters. reasonably tasty. I had New York calzone which was okay. Not sure about the colourful sauce on top. Mrs Tintin passed back her taster slice. Mrs tintin had cheeseburger. Very strange. Ultra compressed solid burger, a bit like those frozen flame grill things. I think a good burger should be juicy and slightly crumbly. Bun not toasted and the thinnest slice of cheese possible. Poor. Desserts were brownie and cinnamon waffle. Brownie not gooey and not intense enough. Please get a waffle maker and not do frozen, otherwise not bad. For what we paid it was all quite acceptable, however the full menu prices would have been double. For that I would have expected everything to be made from scratch. Our local Hungry Horse has slightly better food and is half the price. We did however enjoy our visit. Staff were friendly and the coffee refills kept on coming. Just up the game on the food please.
