Lots of small animals. We saw a deer give birth when we visited which was lovely. Lots of things to do,the play area is fab so much for children to go on and play. Also a Great cafe. Definately reccomend if you have small children.

I live very near there, so I sometimes go for a trip on my Mobility Scooter. Access is quite good, although I tend to stick to the paths. The Park is absolutely huge, and consists of an animal farm, a café, duck ponds, fields, playground, and plenty of grass for kids to play on.

I visited with my mother and was only in the farm section for ten minutes and was told to leave by a very young boy in suit. The opening hours clearly say 4 but we was told to leave at 3:10. Rude.

The free petting zoo was the main thing we loved. Lots of farm animals to feed and pet.
The clear water in the ponds meant we could see the fish swimming around In the sun; its was lovely. There is a big play ground for the kids and a reasonably priced cafe.

Situated just down from Meadowhead on the Chesterfield side of Sheffield, Graves Park has long been a place for Sheffield folk to walk the dog, play games, or visit the small animal area at the rear of the park.
There are two small lakes where children old and young can feed the ducks and moorhens, and the whole park is criss crossed with treelined walks suitable for all abilities. At the centre of the park is a newly refurbished cafe open till 4pm daily, and there is also a pitch and putt course and a bowling green if the fancy takes you.
Probably the highlight of the park (especially for young children) is the Animal Farm, which can be accessed by foot from the park itself, or by car via the Hemsworth Road Car Park.
The farm is a 22 acre site with all walkways tarmaced and wheelchair friendly.
Within the site you can find enclosures that are home to specialist chickens, guinea pigs, and rabbits.
The main barn houses the breeding areas for the farms pigs and sheep, and is always popular with families because of the access to piglets and lambs in the breeding season.
Elsewhere you will find donkeys, pigs, (some quite rare breeds), Highland cattle, goats and sheep.
All in all well worth a visit on a sunny day, especially if you have young children, who will love the animal farm.
Hope this helped.
