We only stayed one night and it was lovely, the location was fantastic as it was very central. We were on the fifth floor and had a great view over the city. The room was very comfortable and bed lovely, very quiet too and the staff very extremely friendly in particular Hannah Hart who was working on reception couldn't do enough for us!my only reservation would be given the price I'm not really sure it was good value for money but it was a lovely place to stay and I would go there again!

we stayed there as a couple in superior room for one night, we opted for the Privilege room as was suggested on Trip advisor and was worth the money. 3.5 mm jack attachment so you can listen to your own music using the speakers in the bathroom with has separate bath tub and shower, robes, slippers, teeth brushes and many others were there. nespresso coffee machine lovely, the view was good but not excellent. very comfy bed, breakfast was brilliant as expected. couldn't fault it , unfortunately couldn't get the time to try the spa or the pool facilities to comment about them. the only thing that can be better is if the confirmation email give the options of different car parks who have arrangement with the hotel and there exact addresses as not easy to find

Room Tip: Privilege room was worth the money

Stayed on business. Friendly check in, fantastic big room, comfy bed, power shower. Huge choice at breakfast and nice cocktail bar. Couldn't fault it! If I needed to go again I would stay here whether business or leisure. Only 7 min walk downhill to train station as well

I thoroughly enjoyed a spa getaway with 3 of my friends at the end of June. The spa facilities and treatments were fantastic and we also really enjoyed the set 3 course dinner and plentiful breakfast. I also feel a special mention has to go to Sandeep, who gave us exceptional customer service, from check in right through to check out - thanks!!

While the hotel was stunning to look at. Both my partner and I were convinced (through a process of elimination) that we contracted some food poisoning while eating at the restaurant on the Sunday evening - by eating either undercooked prawns (Tiger Prawn Linguine) or poorly stored Creme Brulee - as we both had these same dish(s). We did not realize this was the case until we'd left. We have experienced the full range of food poisoning symptoms through until today (Wed 2nd July). We only stayed for 1 night as part of a Sunday spa package.

The room itself was very good and well equipped. The view excellent to the fountain area outside. The Pool, Gym and thermal suite areas were good. The Champagne Bar area was a beautiful area overlooking the winter gardens.

I would like to recommend the hotel on its appearance - but if our experience of the eating was consistent, I would not return. It was unfortunate our experience was tarnished this way.

All in all, not a bad place. Room was North American size, w/ good TV, internet, etc. A few more towels would have been nice, but it is England. It always bugs me that breakfast seems included for English guests and not for North American, but that's the case with every hotel in the UK. The pool was very nice, and the staff easy to get along with.

I booked a spa weekend getaway with my husband. We were visiting friends in the area and wanted a treat. the hotel let us swap the inclusive dinner for afternoon tea at our request. They also changed our massage times, after we got stuck in traffic on the way.
Lovely french guy on the reception desk. Helpful staff at the spa. The only thing missing was a Jacuzzi in the spa.
We had a great room with a lovely view. Breakfast was lovely, but why do you always have to order veggie sausages specially? Surely the restaurant can have some at the buffet so veggies don't feel so awkward!
Great location, and a lovely looking hotel.
It's expensive...but it didn't let you down.
