“great play centre!”
Reviewed February 25, 2014

Took the little one to this one, and he really enjoyed. The place is massive and he was smiling all day long, a bit more pricey and I don't agree with charging for the adults. But we found it excellent value for the amount he had to play with. We also enjoyed the seating arrangement, it was easy to spot him playing and to keep our eye on him. We didn't have any food there, but found the £1.90 for a pot of tea really good value, for play centre prices anyway.

It was a really treat taking him and found it much better than the other play centres on offer, wasn't just bits and bobs thrown together and looked really well built. My only complaint would be the lack of supervision. More from careless parents, but it would be more helpful if staff were on watch. One or two times I had to stop other kids climbing up the slides. Other than that, I couldn't recommend the place more!

“Horrible!”
Reviewed February 24, 2014

Visited here today with my 2 sons and can honestly say never again. I know it's the holidays and was expecting it to be busy but it was like a zoo. At one point about 4 teenagers were running up the slides, they were asked to stop only to start again as soon as the staff turned round. My husband then saw 3 boys proper fighting this 1 boy on his own, at this stage we left. It would be in their interest to employ someone specifically to walk around to make sure the children are safe, after all, they charge enough. I know there are lots of signs saying that parents are responsible for their own children, but, there are lots of lazy parents who do not check what their unruly children are up to and it's not for other parents to interfere. To be honest it left me feeling unnerved for the rest of the day.

“Fun but expensive”
Reviewed February 8, 2014

The place itself is well designed and modern with plenty of seating though it could do with a little refurbishment, as it's been the same layout for a few years now. The play area is one of the larger ones in the area with plenty of slides for the kids. Everything is pretty clean compared to others I have visited, the staff are friendly and helpful too.
We purchased food which was reasonably priced, although it was a little greasy. Drinks aren't the cheapest with a bottle coke being £2.50.

The entry price isn't the cheapest, children under 1 are free, but adults do have to pay £1.25 each to enter, which is a bit of a rip off. They do have a voucher offer at the minute where children can come back for half price.

All in all it's better than some in the area, quite large, but do t agree with adults paying to enter.

“fun day out”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

Rainy day trip out with grandchildren age 1yr 9m and 2yr 9 mth
Lovely clean spacious place
great area for under 2's but then a massive jump to older age group could do with a bit of something in between. however grandad managed to get them around the big area and being a week day morning it was very quiet.

A few rides and toy machines to tempt kids that you obviously have to pay for but no different to anywhere else !
Good room temperature and space to play

additional supervised activities at 11am - colouring and drawing - free to join in

good menu for adults and kids = could be a bit cheaper but generous portions and nice food.
Food was quite cool when we got it - good for kids but bit cold for adults.
Term time weekdays if you order hot adult meal you get kids meal for £1 12 - 2pm this proved good value.

Kids enjoyed it and spaces for kids parties look great but there was no party at that time

Toilets were clean and plenty of stools for toddlers to reach taps. baby changing in male and female toilets

building also has crazy golf course - looks fun and lazer quest down stairs
Lift to access golf and monkey bizness if needed.

enjoyable morning cost £7 for the 4 of us to get in and we came away with vouchers for £2.50 per adult and free child admission for a future visit

“Overpriced”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

Firstly, you have to pay £1.25 for adults which is totally ridiculous. Adults are not coming to play. The price for the children is also on the expensive side.

The play area used to be bigger but part of it has been turned into indoor crazy golf.

The place itself is well designed and modern with plenty of seating though it could do with a refresh as nothing has changed for years. However, it is one of the larger ones with plenty of slides for the kids. I wasn't impressed with the food. I ordered a burger from the menu which was extremely expensive and very greasy. Not what I would call value for money.

It's ok but not much better than most other play areas considering the price.
