Every time I come to the UK I try to make it to a Blades game. This past week we drove up from Suffolk and parked in the city center. The stadium is within a quick 15 to 20 minute walk from the center where we parked, we parked in a parking structure and ended up paying a pretty steep price of £10.45 for parking in it for about 5 hours. I have sat in several different sections of the stadium and have enjoyed every view. However there are two large pillars in the Kop and if you get a seat roughly past row M (cannot guarantee the accuracy of the row) you may want to keep this in mind. Another thing to keep in mind is if you will be covered by a bit of roof depending on which way the wind blows you might still get wet. I always have a great time there whether my team winds or loses and have always felt safe walking to the stadium with my 80 year old nana. It is also the oldest football stadium in the world and is well worth the ticket price.
"Places like this are the soul of English football. The crowd is magnificent, saying '**** off Mourinho' and so on.
Mourinho revels in the abuse he received from Blades fans at Bramall Lane.
