“Delightful and welcoming”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

There are a couple of Garden Centres in the area with coffee shops / restaurants, larger, bustling - but with none of the atmosphere of Valleyside coffee shop. It's a place to linger, read the papers, admire the garden, cosy up to the stove, and be fed quality food. Coffee is excellent and served beautifully. The staff are welcoming and lovely, and Sharon's home baking is to die for.The staff at the whole Garden centre have worked there for a long time, and this says a lot to me about quality and continuity. It is a genuinely delightful place, and so worth seeking out

“My favourite Sheffield cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2013

A beautiful little cafe, inside and out. I am very pleased to call this my local. Food is always delicious and service is pleasant without fail. There's always different specials and freshly made cakes in the cabinet. Not the cheapest cafe but you are paying for the pretty setting. We sit outside whenever we can as it's a wonderful sun trap and you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the resident cat, Gypsy.

“A good place for coffee”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

One of the few places around this end of town where you can get a decent coffee. The fruit scones, jam and clotted cream are quite nice too. Easily accessed off the Manchester Road with plenty if parking. Tucked away at the back of a large garden centre, this little cafe has a sunny little courtyard or bright and clean interior for inclement weather.

“Fresh food in a lovely independent garden centre”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

I have been a couple of time and went back this weekend with my aged mother. The menu is simple - sandwiches, baked potatoes, panini's etc but all well cooked and freshly made. We both had a lovely quiche of the day with some fresh wedges and coleslaw washed down with some Fentermans Ginger Beer and Dandelion and Burdock. Nice clean and bright cafe with outdoor seating if the weather is fine. Coffee and cake is another good option too!

“Great garden centre excellent cafe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012 via mobile

This is a very good garden centre lots of plants all year round. Just off Manchester Road good parking. The cafe is at the back through lots of gardening equipment and accessories, it's light and airy with log burner you should sit near on a cold day. The food is good cafe fair with very good quiche and soups. The staff are very efficient and friendly.
