I got tickets for me and my one direction crazy daughter to see them, we were only 6 rows back and really close to the stage, nice comfy seats even though we didn't do much siting! Zayn's family were sat next to us and we had a good chat. the staff that checked our tickets served us drinks and led us to our seats were all friendly and had smiles on their faces all night.
A few down sides though, security wouldn't let you take pictures with a camera but they would let you with your phone, don't really know why though and this upset my daughter because she had brought her new camera to take pictures so we didn't end up with any, there was no mention of this on the ticket or website. Also the drinks are very expensive (as expected) they also don't let you keep the lid on your drinks and there was no drink holders on the seats so that ment either spilling pop all over me while jumping about and dancing or putting it on the floor, so i put it under my seat on the floor and some one kicked it over so that was a waist of money, also think they could do with security out side as we were waiting for our lift home we found that there were a lot of people trying to pressure us into buying posters and "autographs" we had to walk quite a while to meat our lift as there were lots of cars of course and they were people in the little streets trying to sell these posters which in the dark was a bit scary.
easy place to get to and it is lovely inside and out.

Easy to get to either by car, train and bus. The building is old and reflects the inside. The seating is not ample but does reflect the artist staus. The seating is comfotable and easy to folllow. We enjoy the feel of the concert hall as its small. The toilets are ok but again when its busy expect a wait. The staff are helpful and are friendly. A good place to go for a low level concert/artist.

I've been here many times and I always thoroughly enjoy it, the oval hall is designed so everyone can see the stage which is brilliant. The other rooms are brilliant too, the ballroom decor is gorgeous. The staff are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Service is always speedy, fantastic.

Had a great evening with Bill Bailey - Qualmpeddler. Plenty of leg room in the stalls, Packed house but didn't feel like sardines. Stunning architecture. Could see and hear everything. Close to lots of bars and reastaurants. Brilliant.

Enjoyable visit watching Bill Bailey here. Have visited City Hall for various gigs and shows and find it a great venue with good views, great acoustics, and an intimate atmosphere. The only thing that lets it down is that it is now £4 for a bottled beer which feels a bit much.
