“Good Value for Money”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

I really enjoyed my trip, as there was plenty to see and the staff were helpful and informative. I visited without children, but could see that youngsters would enjoy it very much. The entrance fee is good value for money and I would visit again.

“'Sunshine' on a dull, rainy day!”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

What a fantastic place! We visited on a very wet Sunday, meeting friends there. We are both young families and there was so much to keep four under 6's and the parents happy! The first thing that struck me is that everywhere is so clean and tidy and all staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. There are so many animals: butterflies, meercats, birds, giant tortoises, lemurs to name but a few. There are demonstrations and activities throughout the day which is also a fantastic selling point. The café is lovely and there are plenty of indoor and outdoor picnic areas. There are lots of toilets dotted around the park which is helpful with young children. There is a brilliant outdoor area with tractors/scooters/go-karts and an adventure playground although for us unfortunately it was just too wet to use them. We were here for nearly five hours and still could have stayed longer. We will definitely revisit!

“Excellent day out”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

Great day out for all age groups.
Programmes of what to see and when - parrot areas, reptile area etc

Food available to feed all the animals, cafe well stocked and excellent food.

Kids play area great for most ages, tractor riding, sand pits, peacocks roam freely and eat out of your hand

activities indoors are free and great shop for souvenirs - plenty of parking and taking your own picnic is fine

“Very nice for families, but not impressed with the Butterfly area.”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

This is a very nice place to g if you have children or if you just love animals, the facilities are nice and the café is very charming. The play area is really great and if you have children you will spend most of your time there. I loved all the animals and the demonstrations were interesting. The only complaint I have is, being a butterfly lover, the butterfly area wasn't very impressive or, in my opinion ..clean..and the species of butterflies were limited. I think they could redo that area as it is the only area, keep it a bit nicer as it is the only area that is lacking, also, I think the feeding of the animals should be limited, it can't be good for them to be fed constantly.
