If you like small animals, birds of prey, butterflies and learning about nature, then you will love this place. It's not the easiest place in the world to find (depending on which way you approach it) but once there the kids will be chuffed that you made the effort. Make sure you take a camera as you can up close and personal with all that there is to see. It's £8 per adult which may sound a lot but you can easily spend 3 or 4 hours here if you take in all the talks and shows and for us with my teenage niece we found it well worth the money. Don't expect a fast pace, noisy attractions or loads of entertainment, but if you like to look, learn and enjoy what nature has to offer, then you could well find this a little gem.
