I went here over the weekend with my little gir (3 yrs old) and my nefew (4 yrs) and they had a wonderful time, there is so much for them to do, the park is VERY interactive with the children being able to feed the tiny monkeys fruit, feed the fish live meal worms (urgh!) and their are bags of food to buy ( just 80p) to feed to chickens, goats, peacocks ect ect. There is plenty to see from the meerkats to the falcony air show, really was value for money and a fantastic day out. The cafe on site was reasonably priced with toasties and panninis etc. And there is a large adventure climbing area for kids to wear themselves out.
Overall we had a wonderful day and we will def be visiting again!

Last went to the butterfly recently after 10years.. totally updated, lots of things to look at and see, there are bird shows and talks daily and a great park with swings/climbing frames etc.. Great day out for all the family, the only downside is the cafe, It was packed with not enough seating and was queuing up a while for food.

We had a wonderful day out here at Easter with our 5-year-old granddaughter. She loved feeding the animals and we particularly enjoyed the show in the arena which featured flying birds, including an owl, parrots and a vulture. The keeper who was showing the animals such as a snake and a barn owl was marvellous and made sure everyone had a turn at holding them. The only thing we were disappointed in was the food in the cafe, which seemed pricey for what it was (cheese paninis with very little cheese). So bring a picnic and you should have a great time!
