We called here on a Sunday afternoon hoping to eat although we hadnt booked. That was no problem and we were given a table for two. The restaurant was busy with lots of occupied tables. We ordered drinks then perused the menu which i thought wasn't very extensive. We went for the Sunday roasts and i had the pork roast and my other half had the trio which was chicken, beef and lamb i think,. The meals did take a while to arrive and when they did the looked good but i thought there could have been a little more meat and the veg between us two was a little stingy as well. The food was nice and tasty but some parts of the meal were only tepid and others quite hot. We ate it all though and also had dessert. Some of the desserts were only £3 when you had a main meal but i think all the desserts should have been £3 when you had a meal. All in all it was okay and if it wasnt as expensive we would probably go back but i feel £42.25 for two sunday roasts, 2 desserts and a pint and half of lager is a bit steep.
