my husband and I stayed here on 11th july for one night. when we arrived and were shown to our lovely room[211] it was very warm but didn't have air conditioning. when we were on a red letter day stay, which meant we had a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine. the menu was limited & so we chose starters that we didn't particularly want or enjoy. The main course was the same. My husband chose beef in red wine, accompanied by pasta, but what he actually got was spaghetti bolognese!. I chose pork steak on a bed of sweet potato mash, again I was dissappointed because it was just a big blob of sweet potato mash. I complained to the waitress who was concerned & went to see the chef & we were then sent a bottle of wine up to our room. This was very nice, but I feel that the food should be much better in a hotel of this standard. The breakfasts were equally dissappointing because they had obviously been kept warm & were overcooked. The staff were all lovely, but I have to wonder about the chef & his/her team in the kitchen.

We stayed here on a friday night, and although there was a wedding on i felt an incredibly peaceful & relaxed atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, quiet & had great facilities. We ate in the restaraunt, staff were very polite.. starter, desert & wine were great but main course was very dissapointing. We would revisit this hotel, as we enjoyed our stay!

Good quality 3* hotel and restaurant. Fabulous bar area and guest relaxation lounge. Great friendly and helpful staff. However let down by very tired, small and basic rooms. Restaurant food ok, however the staff can not seem to accommodate as many covers as is possible with the number of tables available! The restaurant is often only 1/4 to 1/2 full and yet guests are turned away saying it is full?! Breakfasts are very good.

We bought a Living Social Deal for Sunday night. It seemed like a good deal but ended up being a fantastic deal. A bottle of wine if dining in the restaurant and 50% 0f the three course meal! The food was superb and we were delighted with our room. We couldn't fault the place. So thank you Mosborough Hall and staff for a most pleasant and welcoming stay.
