Ate here with fellow work colleagues on a very busy Friday night. Half the customers were Chinese/Japenese, so that's always a good sign that it stood authentic Chinese food! Staff were friendly, and service was not rushed. We had the set menu, and werethere for 3hrs! We were in no rush, and had no plans to go anywhere afterwards. The food was good, but I wouldn't say it was excellent. The starters were box standard frozen fare, and beef in the stir fry was chewy and not particularly tender.. I think set menus are sometimes abit boring, but the main menu looked really good, and the plates of food on other tables looked very nice! Portions were overly generous, and we struggled to eat it all. I would return, but would order from main menu next time. If you're looking for a romantic, pretentious place, then it's not the place or you! If you're looking for down to earth and good food in a busy environment, then give it a go. Booking advised, as they turned a lot of folks away due to being fully booked.
