Have stayed in Premier Inns from Newcastle to Exeter, and know we can expect reliable and consistent standards of comfort, quiet and cleanliness, and good value for money, but this was the best so far. The location was perfect, only a short walk into the heart of the City, with its Theatres, Museums and shops, and the view from our higher floor bedroom window over the snow-covered hills of Sheffield was spectacular. All the Staff were welcoming and friendly, but especially Emma and Neville in the Restaurant, who were cheerful, helpful and for whom nothing was too much trouble - thanks very much to both of you, you made our stay even better, and more determined to come back The Chef Gary and Naomi also deserve a mention for their friendly attitude and great food; we will be back, and look forward to seeing you all again.

Room Tip: We like the higher floors which seem to be quieter and have better views - just ask.

Stayed here whilst doing a week of studying at the University. The hotel is fairly new and well located, has everything you will need.

The mattress was a bit soft for my liking but still one of the better Premier Inn locations I have stayed in. As is usual for this brand avoid the breakfast and head to the Moor (local street) for a good breakfast at a local cafe. I also found the pillows here a bit too firm but that is very much a personal thing.

The service is a friendly, Yorkshire brand of service - although much of the process is automated at this hotel. The machines have a lovely smile though!!

Again, as is usual for this brand, the WiFi is over priced.

Very lovely hotel, the rooms were exceptionally clean and well looked after. Television in the room was very nice to pass the time. Extra towels supplied if two people or more staying in the room. Location is brilliant, very easy to walk to from the station and to get into town. Staff very friendly and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Had stayed at this premier inn in September 2011 (review is somewhere on here!) Previously had a great stay with incredibly friendly staff. Unfortunately the overnight staff were dreadful! I have never experienced such bad customer service!!! I rang that doorbell for 10 mins before I got a response and was greeted with a stern voice saying "what do you want?" Very impolite and uncalled for! Am going to stay again because it is good value for money overall and can book a cheap, clean room in a relatively comfortable bed, will post again once stayed at the end of month. Hopefully there will have been some improvements in overnight customer service!

The room was first class along with the staff! The only down side was the cooked breakfast, we were told as they did not have to many for breakfast it would be cooked to order! when we received it was cold no presentation at all the sausages looked under cooked like everything else, i had asked fpr poached eggs, which like the whole breakfast was COLD!!! would have been better off going to weatherspoons! cheaper and it would have been HOT!!!

Came here for New Year's Eve enjoyed the central location and could not complain, good night sleep guarantee ensures just that comfortable, warm and spacious. However one member of our party did get a refund due to an over noisy air conditioning system, guess you can't please everyone!-it was New Year's Eve after all

Front desk staff amazing as ordered us an Indian take out and provided us with plates cutlery etc, could not do enough best customer service experienced at a premier inn.

Breakfast was over priced and weather spoon just around corner and offers sausage sandwich for £1.50 could get steak meal for price premier inn charged for breakfast but was unlimited please shop around before falling into the breakfast trap

Really good new year!

Room Tip: Avoid 212 for noisy air con

Had a family stay here with the wife and kids. Location is just outside Sheffield city centre on the Ring road. Room was standard premier inn, good size, very clean, with everything you need.
Staff were all very pleasant an willing to help- at check in, at the bar, and at breakfast.
Quality of breakfast food was the only issue. Just not up to the usual premier inn standards. Scrambled egg was very crusty, an food had clearly been under the buffet for too long. Shame is this was the only downside.
Still, very good value for the £40 we paid.
El Paso restaurant recommended around the corner.
