This used to be a great pub but went downhill for a while, not sure why. However we heard that it had changed management so went along for lunch today. It was really great, the owners were incredibly helpful, they showed me the new menu that they will be integrating before fully introducing for November. The owner has worked at The Waterside in Bray and with Gordon Ramsay. I had chilli prawns for a starter and OH had a portobello mushroom filled with bacon and cheese. Both were excellent. We both ordered steak as a main course, the meat was absolutely fabulous, you could taste the quality, and it came with crispy chunky chips and delicious really crunchy onion rings in the lightest and crispest of batter. Also have wifi which we are now considering an essential. Definitely going back!
