“REME musem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

I have been here a few times and it's a really enjoyable experience. We had a really good time at the museum. It's a great value of money too. Great fun for the kids too, there's dressing up, colouring activities, puzzles and fun facts. The exhibits were very fascinating and they have a good collection of vehicles.

“Interested army life and vehicles ? If so, then visit here”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

We went to the museum with our son who was joining the REME at the time.

The museum is fantastic for people of all ages. It is very interesting and enlightening looking at how the REME has developed over the years.

In one of the buildings there is a brilliant display of vehicles used by the REME.

“Unusual place to visit and great for kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2012

An army museum does not sound like a great day out for the kids but they make so much effort with their special days. The bonus is that you get to look around at the many great exhibits and be a big kid again as well. Give it a go.

“Great value, enjoyable for a large age range, educational”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2012

Took two 7 year olds and spent a couple of hours here. Although they were not great at studying the information on various displays, there is a lot for the eye and lots of opportunities to get your hands on things such as communication systems, radios, see morse code machines, armoured vehicles etc right up close.
They have different events such as a treasure trail, so u need to check the website.
Something to do with the kids and the grandparents with a nice little cafe too and only 5 mins from junction 11 of M4
