Very knowledgeable people. Great collection in a small space outlining some key historic points which have been long forgotten

“what a find”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

I took my 9 year son as a part day filler , its a gem of a place thats packed with amazing amounts
of history and exhibits to see - really lovely place ( the lady the wrote a negative review really needs to get a life, the passionate people that have put this together really do not deserve that kind of repsonse - ignore her and go take a look).

“Nostalgia from Woodley”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Based upon the history of the famous and possibly unique Miles Aircraft Company, this small museum gives an insight into a different time when British aviation was diverse in its outlook and world beating in many areas. Restoration projects abound, and it is plain to see the affection and devotion applied to everything contained here. Knowledge abounds from the people involved, and there is plenty to see and soak in if you are interested in a peek into a bygone era. Recommended if you have a couple of hours to spare, and a must if you are interested in F.G. (& Blossom) Miles, and there is also a strong influence from Fairey Aviation here too. You might also prepare yourself for a little teeth grinding when you see how much technology was gifted to our US cousins in the name of political expediency.

“Fun little place.”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Hidden on the old airfield site in Woodley this place is run by enthusiastic volunteers who are keeping Woodley's aviation history alive. If you're local you really ought to support this place with a visit. They also have a plane there that you can walk through which is quite novel.
