Reviewed September 18, 2011

We used this as a stop over fir legoland. We paid £40 for a family rooms d the kids had their own beds no sofa in sight. Lively and clean staff were fantastic Terry at breakfast has got to be the most helpful and friendly person I have ever come across nothing was too much . Would never book a travelodge again I would always pay the extra for a prem inn!! The only thing I will say is just bear in mind if you are travelling with children the pub next door is only a carvery there are no other choices that was the only negative thing I could say about it.

During a summer tour of the south staying at various Premier Inn's this was my favourite. Very Clean Reception, Stairwell and Room and Bathroom. Nothing to Fault. Reception staff were very helpful. A lovely river walk which is just round the corner. My absolute favourite bit was that this hotel has it's own breakfast area (no going off to the usual adjacent restaurant) The breakfast area was lovely and very clean. There was lots of staff members to take orders and serve. There was a Costa Coffee Machine which you helped yourself to FANTASTIC. The breakfasts were delicious. I would definately stay here again. There was plenty of free parking - we never struggled for a space. ~The adjacent restaurant was also very good of its type (buffet style but fresh and very good)

We were bicycling on the National Cycle Route along the Thames from Oxford to London. Premier at Cavendish Bridge was brilliant. The receptionist let us bring our cycles into the hotel so they were safe over night. The situation right on the river was lovely. The breakfast in the morning with lashings of Costa Coffee...fresh fruit salad...and full English for one of the party...was excellent. we set off right onto the river cycle path so very convient. We paid £40 per room which we thought was really good and had a great nights sleep after 40 miles cycling. The next night we stayed in the Travellodge in Windsor which was simply awful and twice the price.

All staff very helpful and would go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. The only thing against the room was it was soooo hot I tried turning the temp down and they did provide a small fan but it was inadaquate for the size of room, but other than that the room was spotless (as usual) and the breakfasts are well worth trying!!! The hotel backs onto the river Thames where you can walk to and pick up a river cruise or just feed the swans and ducks, it is also within walking distance of Reading train station and town centre. I stayed with my husband and 9 year old grand-daughter, we were visiting family. We have tried a few hotels in Reading but have always found this one to b e the friendliest and easiest to find, and if you can get a room for the £29 offer you will be quids in all round...

Hi

We stayed for one night this week while in the area for work. Hotel is in good location with plenty of parking and restaurant next door. Staff were pleasant and helpful and check-in was fast. Room was standard Premier Inn fare but unfortunately we happened to be there on one of the warmest days of the year and with no air-conditioning it was a bit like a furnace. It was very difficult to sleep and for security reasons the windows only open a few inches. I did mention heat to staff on reception on check-out who advised that Premier Inn are looking into air-con. Think it may be the way to go! Room cost £91.00 for one night which is pricey enough for what you get.

Stayed for one night 30/7/11 as attending a function in Reading.

Conveniently located for our needs, easy to park (we arrived at 4 pm), nice clean room, big enough and well enough equipped for our needs.

Helpful desk staff - we were missing towels from our room but went back to reception who immediately apologised and gave us some.

Only downfall was that the room was extremely hot though, even with the fan they provided.

We paid £29 for the night - which was exceptionally good value!
