I have eaten food here quite a lot - it's one of my favourite spots in Oxford. The Spanakopitta is always tasty and there's little waiting time.
You have to order your food and drink at the counter, then it is brought to you at the table. There's seating at street level, and more in the basement which is decked out quite nicely. (Access by stairs to downstairs - no lift) The restaurant was decorated and spruced up last year with a fresh blue theme.
Feta pie / stuffed aubergine plus a portion of salad and hummus (or tzatziki) costs around £7.50, add a drink and it's getting on for £10, so it is not the greatest value in the street, but if you're tired of Jericho's pappy burgers, overcooked un-posh chippy chips, average Indian food and pizza it's certainly worth a look - it's good food Winter or Summer!
One thing I've noticed though is that their Greek salad seems to consist mostly of tomatoes these days and hardly any cucumber, which is a shame. Their salad used to be a lot better - perhaps it will pick up again soon.
