This was a fantastic find in Oxford, so be sure not to overlook it. In my opinion much better than many restaurants currently rated higher in tripadvisor.
The restaurant has a unique charm in terms of location and layout - down a Dickensian alleyway to a ramshackle building which is twisting in every direction but held together through history and the love of good food. The building had a number of cosy rooms each with their own quirkiness - so don't worry too much about where you sit.
Having set the scene, the main vent (food) does not disappoint this amazing setting. We had the seafood Tom yam soup for 2 which is served in a huge silver dish and is stuffed full of fabulous tastes. One of the bet soups anywhere ever! I then had the duck curry which was equally impressive
Service was outstanding, friendly, professional, efficient. Wine at a reasonable price. What more cold you wish for - I will,an a return visit to Oxford just to go back.
