Location is acceptable. You can drive 15 mins to down town. However the facilities should be maintained. Especially the shower. I were unable to take a good shower after 13 hrs flight. The shower head was broken. The other bath also not good. The water either too hot or too cold which were difficult to adjust. Very disappointed that the owner didn't say a word even we texted her many times.

A large, clean, well maintained house in a quiet residential location that comfortably accomodated our group of 8. The kids loved the bunk beds. Free wifi was provided. The taxi from Oxford town centre took approximately 20 minutes (probably longer than usual since there was some roadwork and lane closure on the motorway) and cost 25£. However, after settling in, we found the bus stop on the main road (less than 5 minutes away) and took the double decker bus into and back from Oxford ( fun for the kids, journey time approximately half an hour, frequency one bus/hour, last bus at about 10 PM). Nearest supermarket a 5- 10 minute walk away. This was a very last minute booking (one day prior to travel!), but I didnt find it inconvenient to use as a base to explore Oxford - and it was far less expensive when compared to equivalent houses in Oxford town centre.
