Spotless, outstanding and caring service by owner and staff, really comfortable beds, large power shower, free wi fi, large tv, quiet, free parking. Breakfast so good !! This is a guest house which will not disappoint in any way. Very convenient for local hospitals and only 10 minutes drive into the city.centre. I was very impressed and feel this sort of service should be used as a blueprint for others. Perfect stay and will definitely return.

Room Tip: Ask for largest room available overlooking garden.

OGH is conveniently located away from the centre of Oxford, but on the main bus route into the city and a decent stroll to the John Radcliffe Hospital. We stayed for just one night and were warmly welcomed. The bedroom was at the rear of the building and quiet, although a little cramped with an extra single bed and the en suite was obviously built into the original bedroom. All the usual amenities ware provided and the bed was astonishingly comfortable. Breakfast. was well cooked and presented if unspectacular. Take care when pouring from the tea pot as there is a design fault on the spout and tea could go in places you lease expect or want.

Room Tip: The OGH is on a main road so rooms at the rear are probably quieter

I arrived at a late night in February. The owner is a really nice lady. She even asked me if I would like to have something to eat. Really thoughtful. My room was really lovely and clean. I stay at this B&B for 2 nights. I would like to say I was really well treated by the all staff. I loved their breakfast as well, It's really fresh. Will come back.

First visit to this guest house and the first thing that strikes you is how well thought out it is. An office off the entrance hall with the bright, cheery dining area at the rear off the house. Our room was not the largest we have stayed in ( but this business being a new start-up ? ) meant that it was as bright and clean as a new pin ! No mouldy silicone in the shower cubicle, (a little on the small side) modern bathroom fittings and fresh paint, new furniture, really comfy bed, crisp bedding and towels made it a pleasure.Although our room was at the front of the property noise intrusion was minimal. Excellent off road parking and the staff can't do enough for you. Breakfast, whilst not the widest choice (we chose fruit to start) was cooked to our specification and plenty to set us up for our day in Oxford.Bus stops just outside and shops/pubs/restaurants within walking distance makes the location ideal. We would use again and recommend.

Arrived early and although room was unavailable I was able to park and use the extremely handy bus service into Oxford. My room was spotless with a lovely ensuite and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was served in a lovely area and everything was very fresh and tasty. Hope to use this B & B when next in Headington.

I travel and stay all over the uk, this guest house rates as one of the best I have stayed in. The staff went the extra mile. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone. I was working at John Radcliffe and the location was within walking distance. The room was modern and clean. The breakfast was cooked to order.
