We stayed 2 nights in a family room at the top of the house. It was very comfortable for 4 of us and the room was very clean and well presented with a lovely view. The shower was good, I struggled to get my daughters out of it and the free wifi worked well. As everyone has noted, the hosts Luke and Pami, are very friendly and helpful. Getting into Oxford (which is just beatiful) is very easy, with the bus stop just outside and our hosts provided advice on where to catch buses back.

It was a great way to start our holiday. We would highly recommend Red Mullions.

Recently, we visited Oxford with another Canadian couple. Traveling from London, we took the London Tube (a coach that leaves from convenient locations throughout Greater London) and it dropped us within a very short walk of the Red Mullions. Our room was spacious and very tastefully decorated but what really caught our attention was the warmth of welcome. When we had booked, the innkeeper had given us a recommendation for dinner and on arrival, he gave us suggestions for lunch in central Oxford, tips for taxis, buses etc. After a lovely afternoon at the world famous Ashmolean Museum ( prompted by a purchase of the recently published i-book on itunes), we took a city bus back to Red Mullions. It could not have been easier as it stopped right outside the guest house!) After a delighted dinner at a nearby gastro-pub and a very peaceful night's sleep, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast before returning back to London. The Red Mullions made for the perfect city break. We will be back!

Room tip: Room 14 was delightful - spacious and convenient on the ground floor.

As previous owners of a B&B in Niagara Falls, Canada for 8 years we know what it takes to be successful, the owner was very helpful on arrival with information for our trip to town and things to see and do, the B&B was the first to offer a omelet for breakfast a nice change, we were in room #5 with a double bed very clean and comfortable, this was the last B&B in our Cotswold trip of 5 others B&B’s that we stayed in on our way back home, we thought it was a little expensive in comparison to the other B&B’s.

Finally we got round to writing a review of this great place, after having stayed there on the 26/27 April for our anniversary. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfasts gorgeous. The location was great as we were able to walk into the town centre from the B&B each day (about 30 min brisk walk). We needed the walk after having experienced the lovely eateries that Luke (our host) had recommended. Not to mention the lovely Rose tea room which had exceptional cream teas. There is a bus stop right outside the B&B for those who do not prefer to walk as it is not advisable to drive in Oxford. Luke was friendly and inviting and nothing was too much trouble, including the Rooibos tea which we he got for us from his house which is on site. Oxford was such a historic town to visit with the tour on the open top bus a must. Thank you to Luke and all the staff at Red Mullions for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable. If you want to get preferential treatment I would suggest that you bribe Luke with some South African biltong! I will remember that for next time Luke.

Recently stayed with two girlfriends in the 3 bedded family room. Everything about this small hotel was excellent. The manager was friendly and helpful and explained how to get around on the local buses. Our room was very clean with modern decor with a spotlessly clean shower room.
breakfast was very good with plenty of refills. Would visit again and highly recommend.
