I organised a stag party to Oxford and used this accommodation. Having made many changes to my reservation I was extremely pleased with how friendly, organised and accommodating to this.

Check in and check out were both extremely easy process.

The accommodation is made up off several housed located around the square near to Rewley House, I stayed in Room 1, number 9. The room was adequate, clean and functional - exactly what I required for the weekend. Don't come here if you expect luxury.

The location for this accommodation is fantastic, in the heart of Oxford University, a short stroll to the City centre and all that has to offer.

The price is also great at £80 for a twin, I think that is extremely reasonable.

Overall a good experience.

I stayed here recently, and the experience was very good. The location is ideal, being right in the middle of Oxford ... the only problem being that finding a place to park can be tricky. The rooms are student accommodation so they're fairly basic, but still perfectly adequate. Overall: a good place to stay and good value for money.

Room Tip: Make alternate plans for parking in case of trouble!

I found this on Laterooms after being badly let down by a company called University Rooms who decided to unconfirm a confirmed reservation at an Oxford college. With hindsight, I'm really glad they did, because this was a fantastic alternative. The "superior double" was a large, bright, newly refurbished double room with king bed on the top floor of a terraced house on Wellington Square. This is ten minutes walk from the centre of the city.

The room was clean, all the furniture almost new and spotless, the bathroom was modern and warm. The room and location were incredibly quiet and the £6 buffet english breakfast served in a very pleasant dining room in the main building.

If you want all the traditional amenities of a full service hotel this place isn't for you, but if you just need a comfortable, quiet, warm room for the night in the heart of Oxford, then you should consider this as an alternative. If you are staying for less than 72 hours, consider parking your car for free at Water Eaton Park and Ride and paying £2 per person for the return bus ride which drops you off five minutes walk from here.

Room Tip: A top floor room is likely to be quieter than those on the lower floors.

Rewley House consists of a central building with classroom, and meeting facilites, restaurant, common room, and bar. Most of the bedrooms seem to be in different buildings nearby. Stayed in No 9 for three nights which is one of the terraced houses along from reception and had a basic room that had probably seen better days but was comfortable enough. Has all that you would probably need but would not want to spend too much time in the room, it was all rather in need of an overhaul. The food at Rewley House is very good and the location is very close to the centre of Oxford. There is no parking nearby and the best option over a few days is Thornhill park and ride which is free with the bus trip £1.60 each way. They are more expensive but I think the deluxe rooms will be a much better bet as they have been recently upgraded. It's an ideal place to be if you just want to stay in Oxford without paying some of the very high prices nearby.

Room Tip: Go for the deluxe rooms, don't expect it to be the older colleges shown on 'Morse' etc.

This is university housing, titled 'University of Oxford Continuing Education Residence Center'. I stayed in block 37, which is on the third floor of a nearby building.

The good: decent room, clean, quiet, good location for the price (walking distance to train station, bus stops, city centre).

The bad: lift only goes to the stairway landings so you must drag your luggage up a half flight of stairs to get to the lift then another half flight from the lift to the floor, you receive 3 keys (one for the front door, one for the door to the floor, one for bedroom door) that are unlabeled so you have to try them all every time, there was no iron and none could be borrowed, and the breakfast hours were pretty restrictive (8-9am daily).

Having read the other reviews on Tripadvisor I got what I expected and was pleased with my stay. If I find myself traveling alone in Oxford again I will likely stay here once more.

This is university-owned accommodation rather than a traditional hotel. We had the self-contained flat which was very comfortable and relatively spacious. Breakfasts were excellent also. There is a laundry that can be used by guests. Wifi is limited unless you have an eduroam account.

As with almost everywhere in Oxford, there is no parking.

I was attending a medical course at the Oxford Playhouse and stayed for 3 nights. My room was in a building across and along the road from reception. You need to unlock 3 doors to get into the room, but it's done for safety and it's not really a problem. There is a lift but also some steps to go up.
It was about a 10 minute walk to the start of the town centre and lots of things you'll want to see in Oxford. The pavements you'll walk along into town are rather uneven, but that's part of Oxford.
Reception and the dining room open at 8 in the morning. The breakfast is delicious - cooked English breakfast with cereal and fruit laid out. You may end up sharing an 8-seater table with other residents. I didn't mind - interesting conversation if you want it. I didn't have the other meals there.
My room was spacious as was the bathroom. You won't find any toiletries except soap - this is accommodation for the further education college after all. But there was a hairdryer, also stacks of storage space in the room, plus a desk and TV. The room was cleaned beautifully every day.
Will definitely stay there again - good accommodation, inexpensive for Oxford, lovely breakfast, convenient.
