Very tasty coffee at a reasonable price, lovely treats too. Great, friendly service, and in such a fabulous space - how exciting to sup your americano where great music has been performed the day before!

Best coffee on Cowley Rd! Very laid back and friendly atmosphere and although there is n abundance of coffee houses on Cowley Rd this is head and shoulders above the rest.

Can I be honest? I've no idea what a flat white is. But this is a lovely, quirky, relaxed place to come in for a good cup of tea or coffee, to work on the free wifi or read a magazine while listening to the really FABULOUS selection of music that is always playing in the background.

The Keen Bean coffee club is tucked into half of Oxford's best independent music shop, the Truck Store, and has an, er, exclusive selection of tables so there is not always space! But it's definitely worth hanging around and waiting for a table.

I pop into this place once or twice a week and the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Their coffee is very well made. The decor is quirky and fits with being the companion to an indie music store which plays great music constantly. They have a nice selection of homemade cakes, the peanut butter shortbread being the greatest thing ever made. The only downside is that it can be busy on weekends and it can be hard to get seated but that doesn't get in the way of how good this place is.

Another great independent coffee shop for east Oxford's burgeoning coffee culture, which has until now been dominated by chains or careless makers. Situated inside Truck Store, the atmosphere is relaxed and quirky, and the tunes being played are complemented by a good brew. Though it's a small space, this is a lovely spot to enjoy a cortado or a flat white on a rainy afternoon, and the staff really care about producing a good cup.
