We asked our hotel to book us a restaurant for dinner as everywhere was busy for a graduation weekend. Only when we got here did we realise that it was a chain restaurant but that didn't matter a jot.
The place was busy with a wonderful buzz and the staff were more than up to the task. The food was incredible, really good choices cooked perfectly.
I am now looking forward to try another of their branches somewhere else!

We arrived and were seated fairly quickly. The food was good. Before placing our order we were asked if we would like some olives and bread, for which we said yes. There was no mention of these being chargeable. We are not being cheap but it should be stated by the person taking the order that olives and bread, when offered are not complementary, as you would expect and do get at many other establishments. When it was time to think about dessert, we asked if the kitchen could do a special request, a traditional, easy French dessert, Crepes Suzette. As this is a French restaurant we thought they would oblige. The response was an insult to our intelligence. They claimed that the kitchen 'didn't have the ingredients'. So, no orange juice and or oranges, caster sugar, and Grand Marnier. What a load of nonsense. The response should have been an honest one, such as "No we cannot be bothered to do it". For that reason, we decided to ditch desserts and the dessert wines we would have ordered had they been more accommodating. Incidentally our bill for 2 people was £120, so it was not as if we had just ordered a sandwich! Because of their adding extras to the bill without stating it, we paid the bill in full but deducted the service charge. They would do well to go that extra yard to make their diners experience more memorable for the right not the wrong reasons.

We stopped here early evening after a day sightseeing in Oxford. We were lucky enough to get a table for 3. We had the prawn grantinee and calamari for starters and all of us then had the belly pork. All the food was delicious and all members of staff were polite and helpful. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be eating here again when next in Oxford.

This was our first visit to Oxford this place is definitely a gem! The food was just lush, fresh, succulent (had the pork belly) and sooo yummy. Definitely worth a visit!

Been here many times never let's you down, excellent service and lovely staff. The food is simple French cuisine at it's best fresh and delicious. A smallish menu exactly as I like , serving meat and fish dishes aswell as a vegetarian choice. They have a good wine list with various prices to suit all pockets. Nothing not to like highly recommended
