Me and a few friends wanted to grab some dinner here. Their Thursday's curry deal was what made us visit the pub and we were shocked to find out that the staff refused to service us. We wanted to order curry and a few soft drinks and upon ordering, the staff promptly asked us for an ID. First of all, it was quite weird they asked us, since we explained that we do not want to order alcoholic drinks.
Only half of our group brought their ID and then we were told that they could not serve us unless we ALL have our IDs with us. We complained about this and asked for the manager, who then came. After explaining the situation to the manager, she said to us: 'If my colleague refused to serve you, I have to back up her decision'. We were extremely shocked to hear this.
Never, have I ever experienced bad service like this and it is simply outrageous! The manager clearly did not have a clue about customer service and should be fired on the spot. We gladly took off to find another place to eat and we will definitely NOT come back again.
