Typical travelodge type room but modern clean and comfortable. Dont eat in services too expensive. Plenty pubs n restaurants within a short drive at reasonable cost.

We booked this hotel through a deal in the Daily Mirror which was a room for £10 a night. Therefore we really didn't expect much. However we were pleasently surprised!

When we arrived we weren't sure whether you have to park in a certain lot of spaces. We found out that you can park anywhere within the service station and just give your vehicle details once you check in.

The room itself was pleasent. All the amenities that you would expect of a chain hotel. However, it was clean and had a comfortable bed which is all we wanted. We had a good night's sleep and were raring to go the next day!

If you want some food when you are there you have the service station which has a Burger King, KFC and another cafe. Expect to pay service station prices but if you are prepared for that then you will be ok.

Although the hotel is not in Oxford itself it is only about 10 minutes drive from the Thornhill Park and Ride. From here you can get into Oxford for £2 each.

All in all it was a good stay for the price we payed. However, I think the normal rate of £59.95 a night is a bit too much. Look out for the deals!

We booked a family room for 2 nights and were very pleasantly surprised. Basic, as would be expected. Very pleasant, helpful receptionists on each shift, loved the Waitrose (open 24 hours), also Starbucks, KFC and Burger King. Good night sleep and quiet even with the window open. This is a very good base from where you can visit Oxford etc, especially if you are not going to be spending much time in the hotel.

We booked this hotel as a cheap gettaway for a long weekend in Oxford.
Looked grim when first arrived as in on the main motorway services however was really surprised as was clean and tidy and obviously recently decorated. Our room was basic-the same as any bog standard room for the same price but couldn't hear the traffic and was really comfortable.
Had to pop next door to get anything to eat/drink but location was very easy to get into Oxford.
No issues or problems it is what it says it is on the tin-a room for the night for not much money!

Best bit was the lovely receptionist! Having dropped our daughter in Bath we set off through the Cotswolds not realising you need to book in advance at weekends. No accommodation available and recommended Oxford. No room at any inns as Graduation weekend - then we happened upon the Days Inn. Desperate for food and sleep we took the last room. The receptionist recommended next door for eating so off we went. Truly awful - back to hotel which absolutely stunk of what we think was cleaning fluids. O.K. it was c£70 room only so you don't expect a huge amount but it was awful - uncomfortable beds, poor quality towels, lovely light stream through the curtains and freezing cold. We have often stayed at Days in the States and these are o.k. - can only assume the the UK version are run as a franchise. Recommendation: run for the hills!

Ok its not the ritz but I was pleasantly surprised by the Days Inn. I have now stayed there 4 times over the last 3 weeks
The rooms are a little tired but spotlessly clean and as its on a road off the motorway and not right on the motorway itself its fairly quiet ( ok a little noise from the car park but that usually dies right down during the night)
Its right next to a nice service area with Waitrose , WHSmith , Starbucks , KFC and Burger King - as well as a few other stores.
The free WIFI included is very fast and reliable and can be used both in the restaurants and the hotel room
Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room. I never thought I would want to stay regularly at a 'motorway inn' but there is everything I need here and as a female lone traveller I feel very safe here.
Staff in my experience have been friendly and efficient and I have had no problems.
Basically - good cheap no frills accommodation and very quiet considering its location

It is in excelent location as it is in service stop next to M40. All amenities eg resturents, wh smith news agent, wetrose outlets, kfc, burguer king, costo coffe, etc, within same campase. Parking facililities are good. We had to attend a professional conference nearby a mile away. So we choosed this location and visited oxford city next day. Amenities from hotel are reasonable for executive room, not excelent.
