Excellent bed and breakfast just outside Oxford.About 10 buses per hour into the city so no problem.Really enjoyed their unique style breakfast.Room was large,,clean and stylish.Shower-room large with plentiful hot water.Best of all a large comfortable kingsize bed.One of the best I have ever slept in.Staff very friendly and helpfu. There is a small carpark which is a big bonus in this area.

Handy spot on Banbury Rd since only 10 mins away from town by bus with a £3.90 day pass. Nice room with a strange 'tardis' like bathroom inside the main room but massive shower etc - request room 10 if want Ground Floor room - not too noisy. Good quality breakfast with local ingredients.

We stayed here for 2 nights to enjoy the sights of Oxford, the guest house is located out of town but the buses run so often it is easily accessible, £4 buys you a 24hr ticket so well worth it.
The guest house is nicely decorated and the room we stayed in was classed as a small double but more than adequate. I was disappointed however by a number of things including a tired looking en suite with cracked sink, tiles and a toilet flush handle that kept falling off. The bed was extremely soft and not to my liking and creaked every time I tried to turn over, the floor boards also squeaked every time we walked on them.
Breakfast was pleasant with plenty of choice.
All in all a nice enough stay

We had a couple of nights here as tourists. I asked for a king sized shower room and thats what we got. Room was at top of house with great view. The room was quite hot, but actually had opening windows (which some hotels don't) so we cooled down no prob. Bed was two zipped together but very comfy. Room large and clean.
The breakfast was good, however I would have preferred some fresh fruit. eg melon, pineapple or even apple (there was a dried fruit salad.) Omelette was fab.
Location is perfect. Summertown has all the shops and eateries you need and only a short walk away. Nice to be able to walk to a good restaurant after a hard days sightseeing in the city. I would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a king size bed.

We only stayed the one night, but couldn't find fault with this place, everybody was most efficient and friendly, i would definitely go back, but next time I'd probably try and stay a bit longer as we didn't get to see that much of Oxford

Booked direct a few days prior to arrival....Queen bed room only available but suited our needs perfectly . Able to park on site and warm welcome with good advice re transport into Oxford and eateries nearby. Room delightfully prepared ,clean, warm and well furbished. Potential guests who are avid radio fans are advised to bring their own.....as is so common these days no radio in room.
Bus stop a few yards outside takes you from Summertown to Oxford city centre for little cost and in about 15 mins. Shower was hot and well pressured ,although the cubicle was a little on the small side. Breakfast ,as often reported here, was just outstanding - high quality, plentiful and prepared as requested.....my eggs were just as asked for the tea and coffee hot and of quality. We look forward to staying here again as a result of the service, quality and value offered. A delightful stay.

Room Tip: Take your own radio if yo are a fan!
