We had spotted this place on Trip Adviser - so was pleased when we came across it - its worth the 15 min walk from central Oxford. Excellent value for money, the food was lovely and fresh and tasty, and the owner is a lovely guy, very welcoming. We had the set lunch, which was perfect, with a lovely bottle of Turkish Red wine - so good, the following day we went back for dinner - a true find and well worth the money.

We got the name of this restaurant from our hotel receptionist who mistakenly thought it was within walking distance,as did my wife's smart(or not so smart)phone and we ended up walking up and down Cowley Road,Littlemore for half an hour, before asking in a pub and finding out there is a 21 Cowley Road in Cowley, which was much further away and meant we had to walk back to the hotel to get our car, eventually arriving an hour and a half late for our booked table.By this time we were starving and desperately hoping it would all be worth the effort and thankfully it was.We shared the Borek and Turkish Sausage for starters, both of which were absolutely delicious, and Iskender and Adani Kofte for our main courses - again delicious.Although by now we were both stuffed we had enjoyed our meal so much that we shared a dessert of Baklava and ice cream with a couple of decaff coffees. The bill came to just £48,which included 2 beers,a glass of red wine and a bottle of sparkling water.Fantastic value, especially as it was possibly the best Turkish meal we've ever had.The place is fairly small and not fancy, but you get linen napkins, the staff are friendly and helpful, the toilets are clean and the food is faultless,so I'd highly recommend this to anyone.

The food here is fantastic. The restaurant is small and we weren't expecting the food to be as good as it was. There were 5 of us and we were all so pleased. I had the chicken breast and wish I could go back for more.

We stumbled upon this place whilst having a stroll up & down Cowley road for food on a Sunday evening in December, it was almost empty (a lot of other restaurants nearby were closed, maybe student downtime?) which meant it was nice & intimate meal with low background music that suited the atmosphere. They do a 2 course lunch menu until 6pm for £6.95 which is a fantastic bargain - food was deliciously fresh and portion sizes were ample (I was stuffed afterwards, maybe in part due to the complimentary hummus & bread and a side order of garlic bread which wasn't necessary) all washed down with some Turkish beer, we will definitely be back for more soon!
