Owner description: Considered one of the smaller Oxford colleges with approximately 290 undergraduate students, the grounds are spacious with some of the most beautiful gardens and buildings located in Oxford.

The gardens are beautiful and perfect for croquet. The chapel is wonderful. We were lucky to be able to watch as the chior practiced. Incredible history attached to this college.

It's a lovely place to see. Had a marvelous time there. There is a lawn for croquet and you can have a go at it, which we did, and had fun. :D It's as if we were one of the students there. It is definitely another place to experience and reminisce the "those were days" time.

A nice place to look round, a bit expensive, but if you go late in the day you might get a discount. Loved the dining room and the chapel

Trinity College is well known as a tourism magnet, for good reasons. It has one of the larger colleges to visit, giving you access to several gardens and quads filled with trees and plants; the large open lawn at the back of the college; and access to the dinning hall and the Chapel. Not many colleges are as open as this, some preventing access to the dinning hall or the chapel, etc.

The highlight for me was the chapel which i will admit bought small tears to my eyes, glazing at the marvelous black marble decorations and the impressive ceiling art. Truly dedication has gone into creating this wonder and this alone makes the college worth going to. The great lawn at the back also deserves a mention, if nothing else then to see an example of the private spaces the students of Oxford can enjoy during term time, almost as if they inhabit their own world.

It is worthwhile having a stroll around Trinity, which should take you half an hour to an hour to take in and appreciate it. It can be popular with groups so there might be a busy period particularly during the summer months so be aware of that. Trinity does charge a fee as well for entering but for anyone who makes the most of this college, the fee is worth paying and this sight can be combined with looking at free attractions nearby, such as Blackwells next door, or the museum of the history of science just across the street.

Arriving late on a Sunday afternoon we didn't have a lot of time to visit inside Trinity College but glad that we were able to. Stepping inside the grounds all becomes calm and peaceful leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the outside world. We couldn't go inside the chapel but enjoyed the rest of our self guided tour. Impressed by the number of students working hard in the library on a Sunday
