“A wonderful college”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

When we visited Oxford it was the day for prospective students to visit the colleges and most of them were closed to tourists. We only had one day there and were allowed to visit Hertford college which was a great experience. Such nice people and beautiful buildings! We loved it.

“Check out the chapel!!”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

Be sure to ask the porter if you can go into the chapel and see the Tyndale stained glass window that is dedicated to Bible translators throughout history. Really beautiful.

“Handy”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

Most people remember Hertford for the Bridge of Sighs. It's also very handy for the Bodleian Library, Radcliffe Square with the famous Camera, the Sheldonian Theatre, Blackwell's Bookshops and other nearby colleges. The Holywell Music Room is very close by, too.

Beautiful little college right in the centre of Oxford - it's tiny, but has a lovely quad!

“another hidden college”
Reviewed February 15, 2012

There are so many well known colleges in Oxford, and as I live here I am glad that tourist keep to the tourist route of Christ Church/Magdalen and leave the more off the beaten track colleges alone.
