What's not to like? An early 20th century masterpiece linking two parts of the finest college in the finest university ever known!

“Lovely little bridge”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

This is a lovely little bridge linking the main buildings of Hertford College. It is named after The Bridge of Sighs in Venice, but smaller, and you can walk under it and have a closer look. It's a lovely structure actually and a great photo opportunity.

“Great photo op!”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

Beautiful bridge connecting 2 buildings in the college. Beware of tourists stopping in front of you to take a picture though!! And as you pass under the bridge turn into the alley to visit the Turf Tavern!

Beautiful bridge near the Bodleian Library. Great for photos but a shame you can walk from one side to the other.

It really is a nice piece and the whole street is nice and it's in front of the Library so quite easy to reach. It's worth the visit
